By far the greatest movie ever! not only did nolan do a fantastic job in reimagining batman but he ensured that each film in the trilogy had a key part in batman’s story and the way he depicted that on screen was nothing short of mindblowing.
8 years after the events of The dark knight, batman is forced to return from retirement when masked terrorist bane takes control of gotham and threatens to destroy everyone and everything bruce wayne cares about. However the now older bruce wayne may not even be a match for bane.
ok so the plot sounds appealing, cast is incredible (hats off tom hardy for his portrayal of bane) the theme of the movie is rising. This sounds pretty weird but once you’ve seen the film you’ll understand exactly how awesome this theme was.
Bale gave his best performance as the caped crusader (maybe even his best overall) and the supporting cast of tom hardy, morgan freeman, michael caine, anne hathaway etc all did fantastic in their roles respectively.
Overall, this movie rocked! An overly satisfying finale to the greatest trilogy known to cinema.
